The Barnyard Gardens
“Picture a river of color…pouring over boulder-edged slopes, coursing down three multiangled levels. Hills of poppies, mounds of petunias, ramparts of snapdragons and cosmos vibrate in the sun.”
These are the Barnyard gardens, planted on slightly less than an acre. Seven rustic barns provide the backdrop for flaming trumpet vine, crimson bougainvillea, antique roses, Peruvian lilies, shasta daisies, echinecea and an array of seasonal annuals. Wide brick pathways wind through the garden, wooden benches provide the shopper with a welcome rest.
